Destany Fenton Art

Destany lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband and children. She has always been passionate about art, enjoying the process as much as studying the aspects of composition and different mediums. Her favorite classic artists are from the baroque period, and she incorporates elements of this style into her works.

While Destany works primarily with oil paint on stretched canvas, she also enjoys the simplicity pen on paper (pointillism), graphite, and watercolor. She likes to create with graphic design, and works with textiles, knitting and sewing patterns of her own design.

There is beauty all around us. Small children have little trouble seeing this beauty because everything is new and exciting to them. They see things with vivid color and contrast. They experience the simplicity of enjoying what they see without judgement, without any concept of what is attractive and what is not. The world is exquisite for them, for everything they see is something to explore.
